HOW TO FIGHT TECH NECK WITH SKINCEUTICALS

ROLE: SOCIAL MEDIA EDITOR

Skincare.com regularly hosts giveaways with L'Oreal USA brands. In an effort to garner more entries for a sweepstakes with SkinCeuticals, I lead the pre-production, production, and post of a supplemental video to gain more interest in the giveaway.

WELCOME BACK TO THE TILGHMAN ISLAND INN

ROLE: SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

The Tilghman Island Inn is a boutique 20-room property, located on the Chesapeake Bay. I partnered with the owners of the Tilghman Island Inn to rebuild their website, develop their content strategy, and re-engage with past visitors.

Ramp up engagement and drive business in anticipation of the reopening of the Inn.

THE CHALLENGE

The new owners of the Inn needed to establish a new identity and separate themselves from past ownership.

Revamped website with a booking landing page, valuing over $41K within the first 2 months of activation.​

GREEN GODDESS JUICES GIVEAWAY

ROLE: SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Green Goddess Juices (GGJ) is a black-owned, woman-owned Nashville-based cold-pressed juice company. The owner, Katavia Femster, founded the company in 2019 and required assistance with building her online presence. I partnered with Katavia to plan out a giveaway during Black History Month, centered around black health.

Craft a giveaway to boost engagement and brand awareness.

​Green Goddess Juices is a newly established business with little brand awareness.

47.9% increase in accounts reached on Instagram.

EWA TRAVEL

EWA Travel is a travel management company, based in Herndon, Virginia. As the Director of Social Media and Marketing, I created the organization's first social strategy. With the combination of setting SMART Goals, curating engaging content, and connecting with target audiences, I was able to grow followers 33% on social channels. Within the second year of my employment, EWA saw a 26.76% increase in the click-through rate for the monthly newsletter.

VCU LIBRARIES

At VCU Libraries, I had the opportunity to act as the main editor for our social media accounts. This included Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr. Across our Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr, we saw a 27% increase in our following during my tenure. I also assisted in incorporating Snapchat into our social media content strategy.

TFB AGENCY

At TFB Agency, I acted as the Social Media Intern, where I was able to work on digital communications for a variety of clients. I worked alongside my supervisor on a micro-blogger campaign for our beauty client, Elements Beauty Shop in Carytown. We reached out to bloggers to curate content on their websites and shared their articles on the Elements social channels.

BEAUTIES BEHOLDER

I combined my passion for the beauty industry along with my passion for writing to create my own blog, Beauties Beholder. I have been able to use my blog to leverage connections with brands. I've worked with Zoella Beauty, VERT Beauty, and several others to produce content.
